Ana + Rafael Married | Long Beach

When I first met Ana and Rafael for their wedding consult we chatted about the weather, and they mentioned how much they loved rain. As a matter of fact, they loved rain so much that they hoped it would drizzle on their December wedding. Little did they know that December 23rd, their wedding day, would welcome California's first big storm of the season!

But backing up a little... Ana is friends/ex-coworker with my younger sister, and also a really good friend of one of my favorite clients (thank you Bere and Mary for the referral!), so that's how she and Rafi came to know about me and booked me for their wedding. I loved them the minute we met. They were just so cute together!

And their wedding day was absolute perfection. The day started out at a hotel in Downtown Long Beach with gray skies overhead. We got some beautiful shots of everyone getting ready and all the details. We then headed down to their beautiful and intimate ceremony, where they vowed to love each other until the end. It was so sweet and beautiful. The plan after the ceremony was to head to Shoreline Aquatic Park to get some portraits, but that's when they rain started... by the time we got to the gorgeous reception site in LA it was pouring down! So we decided to leave the portraits to another day and do a Day-After session instead. So we headed into the reception and everyone had a BLAST! It was so much fun!

We then scheduled their Day-After Session (and rescheduled it several times due to more and more and more rain!) and So much magic came from this session!

Ana + Rafael - congratulations!! What a beautiful day you had! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day, it was such an honor!
