Spring Break in Miami

One of my resolutions for 2016 was to make time for pause, and to live a life that matters. I love my job, but I still want to be able to separate from it and go out with friends and travel and enjoy the world around me with those I love and cherish. So when a last-minute opportunity came up to travel to Miami, Florida with 8 other girls, I jumped on the opportunity and off we went! It was such an incredibly wonderful trip, full of laughs, fun and water! Miami is such a beautiful city. So full of life, yet at the same time so much calmer than LA. I enjoyed the slower pace of life in Florida, and their extremely salty ocean :)

On our first night in Miami, we headed to Versailles in Little Havana for dinner and dessert. So delicious! This was my first time having Cuban food and it truly lived up to my expectations!

On Thursday morning we headed to Calle Ocho and had a blast exploring the streets! We had delicious ice cream and it was so much fun finding the roosters on the streets and taking picture of/with them.

South Miami Beach totally stole my heart.

We spent Friday in fort Lauderdale. It's such a beautiful and classy city. We went snorkeling there and had an amazing time, and then we just hung out at Fort Lauderdale Beach for the evening after dinner. We were still in the water at 11pm! :)

Our last day in Florida was spent in the water: looking at alligators, and riding the Jetboat Miami! It was such a blast, and such a perfect way to end our vacation.

Thank you ladies for such an awesome time in Miami! I can't wait to do this again!
