Grand Canyon National Park | Arizona

One of my resolutions for 2016 was to make room for pause. To put my phone down and travel a little with those I love. To explore and adventure and have fun while relaxing. This weekend I did just that. On Friday a group of 8 of us left LA for AZ to visit the Grand Canyon. Seven of us had never been there before so we were super excited. And what an amazing trip it was! From the moment we left we had a great time. Talking, singing, telling stories. I couldn't think of a better group of girls to have gone with. They were all so much fun!

The Grand Canyon itself was breathtaking. I love the pictures that I took but they don't do it justice. I was speechless as I stood on the South Rim looking over the Grand Canyon. So incredible!

Thank you ladies for such an amazing weekend! We must do this again soon!

The moment we arrived we checked into our hotel and we headed straight to the Grand Canyon to have our first peek. This was the view on Yavapai Point, where we watched the sun set.

The eight of us. Best group of girls to travel with!

That night we had dinner at a pizza place and they had the most appropriate decorations.

The next morning we got up at the crack of dawn in 20 degree weather to watch the sunrise over Yavapai Point. So cold, but so worth it!

After breakfast we headed to the Visitors Center, where we rented eight bikes and took off for a 6 mile adventure! That was definitely the best part of the trip for me, I loved it!
