Happy 1st Day of Fall! To celebrate, I wanted to share this stunning camping-inspired styled engagement session.
This summer I really wanted to do a camping-inspired engagement session, so I started planning. From the props to the models to the location, it took weeks to put everything together. So long, as a matter of fact, that I ended up posting until now. But once everything came together, it was absolute perfection!
It was a warm sunny Sunday afternoon when I met up with my cousin Yanira, and her boyfriend Adam, for this session. Though Yanira and Adam are not yet engaged, they agreed to be a part of this session and I was so excited to work with such beautiful souls. And they did not disappoint! These love birds were so perfect I just about squealed with joy and excitement the entire time :) In the beginning I had to give them directions ("cuddle" "Eskimo kisses" "look in each others eyes") but within minutes they were in their own world, just being adorable and no longer needing direction. Just so in love with each other, enjoying their surroundings and each other. Drinking hot coco, playing guitar and singing, and being silly. Absolute perfection.
Yanira and Adam also brought along other outfits, so once I got my camping idea out of the way they changed into their other outfits and wowzers! These two are just gorgeous! I could not be happier with the images that we got!
Yanira + Adam - thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for agreeing to be a part of this session. Thank you for putting up with all my crazy ideas and texts, and postponing the session due to the weather. Thank you for being adorable and so much fun. Thank you both for just being yourselves, so beautiful both inside and out. You two were a joy to work with, I seriously cannot believe I was blessed to work with you. And I cannot wait for you guys to be actually engaged - you're so perfect for each other :)
*A special thanks to...
1. My mom, for making that beautiful baby's breath flower crown that Yanira wore.
2. My sister Berenice for letting us borrow her bike that went so perfectly with this session.
3. My cousin Armando for letting us borrow your guitar, and trusting us not to scratch it :)
